Decibel‘s publisher, editor-in-chief and managing editor are all baseball guys, but our art director quietly maintains an fierce allegiance to hockey — particularly the Flyers — so we’re sure he’s psyched about the hopefully unironic image of southeast Pennsylvania noise/hxc trio Carved Up above. Debut full-length Matador is dropping on Texas-based Crowquill Records on November 13, and we have a red-hot track in the form of excellently titled “We Built Riff City.”
