Searching for an alternative to caffeine?

Look no further than “Stay Awake,” the latest pummeling, groove-heavy hardcore aural stimulant from Modesto, California’s These Streets off the forthcoming full-length Expect The Worst — out August 21st digitally via Blood Blast Distribution (Nuclear Blast Records) and CD through Upstate Records.

“‘Stay Awake’ is straight up about getting caught up in a cycle of partying and tour debauchery,” vocalist Cam Ross tells Decibel. “Not sleeping for days on end, you tend to lose reality. Consider ‘Stay Awake’ as a conversation between you and your conscious, living in a surreal reality.

“The video shoot for ‘Stay Awake’ was one of the most insane days ever,” he adds. “We sent out a small invite to a few friends and it turned into one hella party. The first venue where we were scheduled to shoot was at a smoke and bong shop. The owner started seeing all these heads show up and was so scared that her collection of Rick and Morty themed bongs were going to get wrecked, so she shut it down. What did we do? We kept the party going and moved the show down the street! Shout out to Izzy Roc and Social Class!”
