I’ll admit that it’s still a little fuzzy whether Plague Years‘ 2018 release, the 28-minute, six-tracker Unholy Infestation is considered an EP or a full-length LP. What isn’t up for conjecture, however is the fact that the Detroit crew are poised to join Power Trip and Creeping Death at the forefront of the U.S. crossover thrash movement. They’ll take the next step sometime in 2020 with their first LP through new label eOne, but today, we’ll keep that journey thrashing forward with a video from Unholy Infestation banger “Hellborn.”
“This song is about the Hellborn committing genocide on a world that God has abandoned,” says the band. “Hellborn is a breed of people reborn from the dead who are recruited for Hell’s Army. Anyone who follows our band we consider them, Hellborn.”
