Full Album Stream: Hexecutor – “Hangmen of Roazhon”

Good news if you missed out on the first run of Hexecutor’s Hangman of Roazhon 7”s: The Rennes-based quartet have agreed to let German label Dying Victims reissue that insta-cult four track double-sided slayer so that it may reign in lasting metal infamy as a 12” vinyl. Additionally, these songs return four years after their original release emboldened by a remastering job. Never fear, the remaster does nothing to corrupt the vintage thrash worship, as Hexecutor’s proclivity for arcane metal comes from their roots not their recording. The Hangmen of Roazhon 7” EP was sold out quickly and we saw the price continuously rising on Discogs but we didn’t want record flippers to make a lot of money out of it,” the band says. “Dying Victims was eager to release another batch of our first EP, as a 12” version, and we are now delighted with all the positive reactions we’ve received so far. As much as being anti-speculation, we view this re-release as an appetiser for our upcoming second album which we are currently working on.”

Out this Sunday on Dying Victims, Hangman of Roazhon remains a killer slab of mandatory modern thrash excellence.
