After granting them their first national magazine cover, coaxing a track out of them for the Decibel Flexi Series and then sticking them smack dab in the middle of our 2016 Decibel Tour lineup, it should be crystal fucking clear by now that Decibel is firmly in Skeletonwitch’s corner.
And with good reason. For over a decade the Ohio-based heavy/thrash/black metal union has steadily evolved into the one of America’s most reliable metal bands, regardless of subgenre. If you’ve slept on them to this point, it’s probably time to reinvestigate. Luckily for you, we’ve got the premiere of their brand new EP, The Apothic Gloom right here, which is already my new favorite SW release.
