Album Premiere: Wormed’s “Krighsu”

Last night Decibel received the following transmission out of deep space (or maybe Spain) from Phlegeton, vocalist of Wormed, regarding their upcoming third full-length:

“Krighsu”

Hibernating nanorobots return to activity, and A-life spreads into regions where it had previously been absent, replicating hex swarms from pulsars, a monstrous singularitarian nanarchy.

Krighsu is the last posthuman being of a new era, a new existence within an immense robotised galaxy. Last mission: Confronting it

1. PSEUDO-HORIZON
2. NEOMORPH MINDKIND
3. AGLIPTIAN CODEX CYBORGIZATION
4. THE SINGULARITARIANISM
5. EUKARYOTIC HEX SWARM
6. COMPUTRONIUM PULSAR NANARCHY
7. A-LIFE OMEGA POINT
8. 57889330816.1
9. ZEROTH-ENERGY GRAVITON
10. MOLECULAR WINDS

If that seems less than transparent, we think it mostly translates to death metal played at warp speed ten with world devastating heaviness. What separates Wormed from the glut of technical nonsense attempting to cave skulls in (other than the obvious space wizardry) is the understanding that memorable songs have parts that listeners can remember. Below stream the sci-fi tech juggernaut that is Krighsu, which is set for a March 25th release on Season of Mist:

Pre-orders are now available, and you can keep up with the cosmic journeys of Wormed (as much as is possible with such subject matter as “COMPUTRONIUM PULSAR NANARCHY) via their Facebook.
