A Minneapolis black metal collective that doesn’t title their acclaimed albums shouldn’t care about “revving up the crowd,” and you’d better believe that False don’t. “We’re grateful for those who go out of their way to attend from early on, but ultimately how many people we perform for is of no consequence to us,” the band collectively announces. “If you enjoy our music, by all means come early and join us. How this is fulfilling is not based on how many bodies are in the room, and what will be offered will be the same—regardless if it’s to five or 500 people.”
