In the just-sent-to-print August Decibel, our own Shawn Macomber raves about Newburgh, NY crossover crew All Out War‘s Dying Gods EP (due out in a week on Organized Crime), saying, “Dying Gods is some seriously high-grade, fully actualized, take-no-prisoners, for-really-real metalcore. Heavy on the metal, thank fucking you-know-who.” The EP features covers of Carnivore and crust legends Amebix. Check out AOW tackling the title track from the latter’s 1985 epic Arise! below.
