THE HAIR THAT ATE KANSAS CITY: JPT Scare Band’s Lost Masterpieces “Acid Acetate Excursion/Rape Of The Titan’s Sirens” Now Streaming

JPT Scare Band aren’t new to this blog; I wrote about them back in my old Lazarus Pit column. The big difference between then and now is that their albums are no longer way the hell out of print. Tons of stuff has been getting unearthed from the 70s and 80s recently, but this is the real deal. These proto-metal jams from the early 70s were kept in a basement until 1990, released, went out of print, released again, went out of print again, and now finally available once more in a lavish two LP set. Clearly this music wants to be heard. Although it’s hard to call this a “premiere”, we have the entirety of Acid Acetate Excursion/Rape Of The Titan’s Sirens for you to rock out to. Check it out below, but make sure to grab the vinyl – it’s literally how they were meant to be heard.
