Hot on the heels of #USA4TFD — an endlessly brilliant album that established an almost perfect balance between madness, extremity, and art — your friendly neighborhood avant grind killers Total Fucking Destruction are set to blow minds and eardrums again on April 20 with …to be alive at the end of the world courtesy the consistent boundary pushers at Translation Loss.

Can’t wait that long to spark up? Well, never fear — we’ve got the exclusive stream of the mind-bending title track for you right fucking now.

“‘…to be alive at the end of the world’ is a celebration of the exponential acceleration of the slow motion apocalypse,” Richard Hoak, the ex-Brutal Truth grind legend/trailblazer who now helms Total Fucking Destruction, tells Decibel. “The end of history, the end of nature, the end of the world as we know it, the brutal truth of a planet buried in garbage and arrogance.

“I think folks will be both surprised and psyched by the musical direction this song takes — and really it just created itself one day in the jam room,” he continues. “It’s bleak and atmospheric and it sums up the twenty years of Total Fucking Destruction’s message in a few words. We definitely meant to draw the listener into our worldview and for the song to be listened to at maximum volume with bonus points for headphones or altered states of consciousness.”
