Occult group Demon Eye have a doomed outlook on their forthcoming Prophecies and Lies full length, which contains a nice mixture of traditional doom and heavy metal with heavy classic and hard rock added in. New song “Dying For It,” which you can (and should) stream below, contains all of those sounds. There’s plenty of doom in the riffs and the vocals definitely bear similarities to classic rock.
In Demon Eye’s own words: “It’s a hard charger with a bit of Voivod dissonance meets classic Dio. Lyrically it represents the loud voices we hear in the world, those who make bold claims, but who ultimately would never put their lives on the line for anyone else.”
