Catherine Yates
UK-based writer who began with an occasional music column in a local paper in 1994 (which may have been the only time you could have read about Justin Broadrick and home gardening tips on the same page), before submitting to the dark side as Assistant Editor of underground metal bible Terrorizer magazine in 2000. Currently pursues a freelancing life writing for Decibel and London-based rock weekly Kerrang! and can usually be found propping up those propping up the bar in any one of the capital's afterhours metal drinking dens.
