Kory Grow
Kory Grow is a New York-based writer and musician as well as an editor at both CMJ New Music Monthly and CMJ New Music Report. In addition to Decibel, he has also contributed to Rockpile, Signal to Noise, and Mass Appeal. Since he grew up in Colorado, it wasn't unusual that his first metal concert was Tesla (if you can call that metal) at age 13. He fondly recalls meeting Cannibal Corpse not long after that Tesla show at a record signing and getting a copy of Ace Ventura: Pet Detective signed, to which Alex Webster said, "I'm glad someone recognized us after two days in the heat."
