In the Studio: Revocation
When vocalist/guitarist Dave Davidson tells us that his favorite experience from Revocation’s recent studio trips took place well after recording, we’re not sure whether to read between the lines. Was some Charlie Sheen-type shit going down? Was the studio equipped with MIB-esque neutralizers? Was participating in our Flexi series that burdensome? The real reason kicking back and listening to the finished product topped his list may not be that provocative, but it does demonstrate the Bostonians’ dedication to their craft: “We’re so hyper-focused in the studio that when [an album is] done and we can actually enjoy listening to it, it’s a very rewarding and kind of bonding experience with the other guys in the band.”
