David Vincent is the man! Once again Morbid Angel confounds and confuses. I give Mr. Vincent a lot of credit, he said that he would never play in another death metal band again, and he was loyal to that. I have always favoured Dave as one of my idols and one of thee best vocalists of all time.

Controversial?  Its only controversial because people hate it. Not because it covers taboo subject..Its just a poorly written record.  

Terrible album.

Vincent WAS the man! I too sir are confound and confused… but giving Vincent credit… not so sure about that. 

Vincent should have never Re-joined the death metal band he left if he vowed to never play in a death metal band again? Vincent rejoined the band because morbid is still highly regarded and people really care about and respect the band. Who cares or ever cared about genatorturers? Imagine Vincent trying to start some mall-core radikult style band, do you think anyone would even give a shit? HA 
MA has been a death metal band since they started, thats why people bought their DEATH METAL records to begin with!!! What morbid angel fan was hoping morbid would incorporate using generic 3 chord rock parts and gothy dance grooves. 8 albums in and you guys are are looking for new fans… no problem… but don’t forget the people that own the first 8 records already… Vincent is also one of my all-time favorite death metal singers, and he missed the mark big time on this one…and the lyrics to the new album are simply infantile. Nothing about what he did on this record holds a candle to Vincent of old. I listen to every style of music out there…this band is so special to me. Top 3 of all time in any style! I tried so hard to understand this record, I even found some good riffs hidden in the mess. No question the biggest let down ever by a record! 

I have been fan of this band since the old-golden times 87, when they released only (but better than now) demo-tapes and live-tapes. Now I must admit that I’m deeply disappointed to this band. What matter of fact is this album? They promised something like… innovation?? Is a Marylin Manson-Rammestein-Modern Metal combo some kind of innovation? Is Disco-dance music like Too Extremme some kind of innovation? For me, not! There is no novelty in this album, no master piece. What they miss? Creativity! So they followed to path to mediocrity like metallica, slayer, sepultura… they followed the easy spech of “modern music”. I own their 8 albums and more… so I ought now to say: I’m too old for modernities. I prefer listen to the new AUTOPSY album. They deserve my attention, respect and money.
