Decibel is shocked and saddened to learn of the passing of Cynic bassist Sean Malone on December 9. While a successful session musician and the author of several bass theory books, Sean will be forever linked with Cynic and their groundbreaking Decibel Hall of Fame-inducted debut “Focus.”
No cause of death has been reported. Decibel sends our deepest condolences to his family, friends, bandmates and countless fans around the world. Rest in power, Sean.
