This chinese girl joined our program at school this yearand had to take first year communications because of her ethnicity (which is bullshit, she speaks perfect english, moved here when she was 3 or some shit)… anyways, I leant her my notes and papers from first year, and on Friday she gives me back my notes and Botch's "An Anthology of Dead Ends" EP as a thanks. She saw my Isis hoody one day and thought I might be in to it. She told me she can't do the "heavy stuff" anymore.
I thought that was pretty rad. We ended up talking about Pelican and some post rock for a while… I love stumbling across someone where you'd have no idea they'd be in to that kind of thing.

I just got the Graf and Owen Hart albums this morning from Vitriol and Thou from Gilead Media. Adam is all sold out but he is getting 25 more next week!

I dunno, I wonder if they are still on Prank! or not. I kind of always want to pick up iron lung but never do. The last time I tried to I got gidstomper instead but never listened to it. It was one of those ebay auctions where you think you are bidding on one thing and actually win something else.

At the Agalloch show last night picked up a 7" with the songs Nihil Totem and The Weight of Darkness. Pretty stoked about that. Ended up coming in a box set with the new CD and a couple of post cards of the album art work (don't know what the hell I am going to do with them).
Also bought Deathspell Omega – Veritas Diaboli Manet In Aeternum on vinyl from some peddler at the show.

No doubt, the box set was $30 for the 7", cd and 2 postcards (which is guess isn't too bad). I went back and forth for a while on whether to buy it or not and after my third jack and coke I pulled the trigger. Asked when the Marrow of the Spirit would be out on vinyl and the guy said he didn't know.
