Zombie was pretty willing to admit he need more time and money to make it what he wanted.

Well, it tanked at the box office...$622,000 for the weekend...not surprised, he needs to conjure 1991 Rob Zombie and let THAT guy makes movies from here on out.
 

Just checked Box Office Mojo...so far it's done $1.033 million, and the budget was $1.5. By this time next week it will technically be more successful than Die Hard 5 and that dumb Steve Carrel magician movie.

As far as gore and scares, I winced a few times and jumped once. Unless I'm forgetting something, it's the best wide-release American horror movie I've seen in theaters since The Descent.

"Actually" you like Dog Soldiers more?  Look, I love Dog Soldiers, but that statement is fucking weird.  You're saying it like they're comparitive.  Both had vastly different budgets, themes and ideas.  I mean, I guess you could say, "people stuck together in a dark place fighting things in the dark."  Congrats, that's at least half of horror.

It's the same Director/Writer so that's why I compared them.
