I haven't listened to Snakes for the Divine all that much either except for Fire, Flood and Plague. I was also disappointed with this album seeing how this band is a big favorite if mine.

I haven't listened to Snakes For The Divine all they way through more than 3 times since it came out, and I LOVE this band more than I've ever copped to...shit sounded rushed and half assed!

Man, I've gotta admit this band is amazing live, and Matt Pike is entertaining as hell. I don't even like their records, but live they're awesome no doubt.

Blessed Black Wings was my favorite for a while, closely followed by DitC. But then I saw sleep and all I wanted to listen to was Holy Mountain and the first two HOF albums. I think I like them best now. The second album is just fucking spectacular, a good blend of the later metal sound and heavy sleep-esque riffage.

pike is an amazing performer, raw energy and pure metal !

i'd love to see this tour, it don't come anywhere close by me though.

i agree with vegas on snakes, the songs are there, but something is missing.

i loved DITC though, start to finish, probably my favorite HOF album on some days.

Yeah, shit rules. Nothing will ever compare to the one Sleep show I saw though. Still, high on fire's first three albums are all killer, and Death is this Communion is pretty good too. Snakes, though, is eh.

Just saw these guys for the first time last night along with Kylesa and Torche. Holy shit! Matt Pike is such a good performer. Awesome show. My ears are still ringing.
