Down Among the Dead Men‘s third album, …and You Will Obey Me, is coming next month via Transcending Obscurity. It’s exactly the kind of release one would expect from David Ingram (ex-Bolt Thrower, Ursinne, Echelon, ex-Benediction) and Rogga Johansson (also of Echelon and dozens more): pure, crusty death metal. That said, they’ve honed it to the finest point yet, offering strong riffs and filthy vocals, plus a bit of shredding from session guitarist Kjetil Lynghaug. It’s on display on “The End of Time,” the latest offering culled from …and You Will Obey Me.
